Made In The USA: American Dishes With Florence Cornish, 19th November

Sit back and allow yourself to be transported to the easy, breezy world of the American Diner, as Florence Cornish shows you how to prepare classic dishes from the US of A.

You’ll watch her prepare breakfast classics such as Pancakes with Blueberries and Cinnamon, regional dishes such as San Francisco Spaghetti with Clams and Southern delicacies including Chicken and Shrimp Jambalaya and Beignets with Nutmeg Icing Sugar.

You can even learn to master a Real Long Island Iced Tea as well as indulging your sweet tooth with Key Lime and Mint Pie and Black Cherry Cupcakes.

You’ll receive a tapas-sized taster of all five dishes, each served with wine.

Florence lived all over the world as a child, from Singapore to Thailand to Belgium, but she always loved the food she tasted in the USA. Having lived there as a child, and having returned to work and travel there repeatedly, there are few parts of the States – and its cuisine - Florence hasn’t explored.

After being named River Cottage Rising Star finalist in 2013, she trained at Leiths in 2015, before working as a chef and releasing her book Made in the USA.
