Allegra McEvedy has been cooking professionally for over 20 years. She has worked at a number of London’s best restaurants and ran the kitchen at Robert de Niro’s New York restaurant. She co-founded the restaurant chain Leon in 2004. She works extensively with Good Food Channel, Radio 4, the Guardian, ES magazine and Elle. In 2008, Allegra was awarded an MBE for promoting healthier eating and ethical sourcing in the UK. This is her seventh book.
